Vacation School Programme (VSP) in full swing!

The Vacation School Programme (VSP) is gaining momentum with individuals availing themselves, voluntarily, to tutor key Grade 12 subjects.
VSP will assist learners with planning and time management, study skills and preparations for exams. All tutors are exprerienced and knowledgeable in the subjects they specialise in. This will assist learners to improve their marks and achieve above averagely.
Tutors who have availed themselves so far include Gabriel Kutumela, Budha Nkuna, George Teitein, Precious Mautla, Tshepo Sekhu, Bessie Mooka and others. The tutors have excelled in the subjects they will teach and will be able to impart valuable knowledge and study techniques to the attendant learners. The tuition service will assist the learner in the existing school curriculum and functions as a support structure.
Learners will be able to benefit from very small classes and off course individual attention. Our tutors will be giving lessons using a number of materials in addition to the prescribed books that are issued at schools. If a tutor feels it is neccessary, homework will be set after each learning lesson. The learner should take the homework set seriously as it will be checked at the beginning of the next lesson.
Tutors will be keeping an account of the work covered in each lesson as well as work planned for the next lesson and any homework that was set. A report back will be given to the Head of VSP and BBEAG at predetermined intervals in order to inform of the learner's progress.
More tutors are still needed and a detailed schedule of the tutoring programme will be issued in the next edition.
