The BBEAG secures a meeting with the local municipality

The BBEAG project team is pleased to confirm that we have secured the audience of the local municipality head honchos to discuss possible collaborations on issues of education.

We will be meeting with their delegations on the Friday, 19 February 2010 at the Municipal Offices, to impress upon them our idea around the Education Advocacy campaign as well as seek strategic alliances, where possible.

This is one of the many partnerships we seek to forge in a bigger picture of community-based collaborations.

We will give you more updates at the appropriate time.

Tshepo Monareng to wow the Summit!

Tagless Entertainment up & coming jazz fusion supremo, Tshepo Monareng, has been confirmed to perform at the BB Education Summit on the 27th March 2010 at the local hall.

Tshepo's breadth of works spans the who's who of the industry and has recently worked with Hip Hop Pantsula aka HHP on his latest album. BBEAG to meet principals of local school on the 19 February 2010

The BBEAG project team is scheduled to meet with 3 principals of local schools to discuss issues as following:

  • the deterioration of the education system in local school
  • chronic malperformance at Matriculation level
  • cooperation with the schools
  • plan of action
  • the mooted Education Summit on the 27 March 2010

While the meeting would be conducted under a cloud of respect, no stone would be left unturned in our quest to redress the problems at hand.
